ABOUT US
We are a family company and the inventors of the irrigation bags for mature trees. We hold all the authorship and trademarks of the TREEIB® products.
We are distributors of irrigation bags for newly planted trees on the Czech and Slovak markets. We built the market from scratch and now we hold about 98% of the market. We learnt hundreds of municipalities to use irrigation bag as standard part of tree planting.
OUR STORY
Our original careers are marketing, PR and publishing. Since 2010 we changed our lifestyle and we moved to area close to landscaping: we produced willow fencing, stage properties for movie productions and big dry willow art objects. We developed our own know how for willow living structures leading to great success and during winters we successfully executed about 400 projects on situ. We were the only company making bank and slope natural stabilization measures in the country, living or dry.
WATERING BAGS ADVENTURE
When we met watering bags in 2016 in Sweden on a street, we realized it would be the way how to irrigate living structures of our clients. But we could not imagine how it is going to change our lives. Today we have to leave all other activities including our beloved willow except some exceptional projects.
And here we are in 2018, when the story of TREEIB irrigation bag for mature and veteran trees began.
WHY WE DEVELOPED IRRIGATION BAGS FOR MATURE TREES AND WHY WE INVESTED ALL MONEY WE HAVE TO THEM
We value large trees far more than newly planted trees. And we can see that mature trees are not well all over the world. We own large trees too. We decided to help our trees as well as all the old trees in cities and landscapes all over the world.
In 2018 our first attempts with old trees irrigation started. First we were testing using more pieces of irrigation bags for newly planted trees but the solution was neither save nor practical. After solving surprisingly many technical issues, after seven prototypes testing, we are introducing the product, which, as we believe, can save millions of trees all over the world and create thousands of jobs.
We developed TREEIB® based on our personal needs. We are really afraid that, if we are not going to take any action now, many landscapes and cities are going to lose large trees in near future. We understand that water sources could be limited in some areas and we cannot help the trees there with our current products. But it might be an opportunity for future development.
